They all stood up, one after the other. One would get arrested and taken away, then the next would stand up and say their peace.

It wasn't a shoutfest, it was pointed questions to the chairman, Max Baucus. They wanted to know why no single-payer advocates were invited.

It was an inspiring bit of direct civil action.

and clearly more important but the Rushican soap opera is also good news. I love a feeding frenzy. Let them eat one another live on TV. I'll watch. Palin losing popularity in Alaska is great news. :evilgrin:

I'd hate it if the MSNBC shows all covered the same stories. Some levity, in the news, is a good thing.

the most "important" stories... but after Ed and Hardball I actually like being able to have a chuckle.

Keith is entitled to frame his show the way he likes - he has done a lot to keep me sane over the last few years. :)

stories of the GOP imploding have been going on for a long time...
who gives a rip about Joe or Sarah...I don't...
IMHO, they are yesterday's news.

That an opinion shared by 64% of the US people does not get heard at a
health care forum.....and Drs and Nurses are handcuffed and arrested...
now that's news....
I don't understand why it's not covered in prime time news.

8. Lately I have been feeling that Keith covers the same stories every single nite.

His show used to excite me - now to be honest, it's mostly background noise.

I just heard him say that coming up he is going to covering the succession story...yawn...yeah, I know the republicans are idiots.

He has done an excellent job reporting on the torture issue - but tell me something new...



That said, I will continue to watch him every nite....not giving up on him.

I am loving Ed. This week I'm studying for finals all night and I've been catching the Ed reruns in the wee hours of the morning.

9. He had a nurse on that was trying to get invited to the Baucus hearing on healthcare.

Very interesting segment on why single payer healthcare is not on the table.
Talked about the protesters - and Ed asked the question why is the finance committee the ones doing the hearings on healthcare - shouldn't it be the committee on healthcare.
Howard Dean was on.

He took the banks to the woodshed for wasting our money.

Michael Savage was his psycho talk person.

Had a great discussion panel on healthcare - lots of heated discussion.

because I was working...but I heard part of his radio show...
He was on fire about the single payer issue...
He said he would have Dr who was arrested,
and I read Dean was there.
I am hoping to see a video.

They're not newsworthy, but we keep hearing about them.

Well, that's the curse of the cable news networks and the Internet(s) tubes. But, at least we have the option of hitting the "mute" button.

I really thought of it as the silliest story, and then he got down to serious stuff. Even KO has to bow to the ratings and advertising gods, who must be appeased with periodic offerings, like the limp bodies of Sarah Palin and Wurzelbacher.

This sounds like they're on their final swirl in the toilet of public opinion. Hang in there. We'll still be around when they're gone..............................
