1. Pelosi is responsible for allowing them to happen
As soon as they told her, she should have called for public hearings and so forth.

She is just as guilty by allowing this to happen.

3. Exadtly.
And remember the other things the GOP did regarding torture was only to prop up their fig leaf of legality.

Why should we consider a (sort-of) disclosure to Congress be any different?

And, since Pelosi cannot say what she was told, how do we know exactly what she was told?

6. Nancy should level with us on what was said
not hide behind it like she is. I remember when I had so much respect and admiration for her but that is all waning now. So sad that we as a country have come to this place.

7. Committing crimes and LYING to Congress about it is yet another crime.
You know very well that Bush officials DID NOT tell Congress they were committing crimes. GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZ!

They lied to cover up their crimes!

11. Exactly. These people act like politicians are immune to the law whenever
both party's insiders agree that they should be.

Even if you accept the Republican claim that Pelosi and other Democrats were fully briefed and had the option to go public, it only adds a few names to the docket. It doesn't cancel out the crime.
