One sign, crafted in an hourglass-female shape, read "Women Say Pull Out!"

The other is more straightforward: "Bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity."

The protest in DC in January 2003, however, had my favorite sign. Big and neon yellow with three black-marker words: "FUCK YOU, GEORGE."

that was hilarious! A backbone, complete with vertebrae. It looked like a float. Severa l people were carrying it., My favorite one so far!


There was also a weird bird, basically a yellow beal, white head ... looked like a sheet. Strange but fun.
