Watched the Challenger from my back yard when I lived in Tampa.

13. I haven't seen a shuttle launch in person but we used to watch the Apollo launches

From our backyard in Bartow. If they were early morning launches, we could hear the rumble of the engines. Dad figured out the timing - we could watch on TV until they almost lost sight, then run outside, see the trail and hear that rumble!

Yeah, until the shuttle is in orbit, I am not at ease. And then I worry until I find out there is no damage to the tiles...

14. Still gives me shivers. . . . .I'll miss the Hubble when it closes it's eye.

But I am looking forward to the next generation of extra terrestial optics!

but if you want to see some really awesome stuff, start watching after tomorrow when they start the EVAs. It is going to be INCREDIBLE!!!
