3. SHUDDER!
Whatever that extension might be, I'm not bastardizing my Firefox with anything that has "IE" in the name. I'll do without whatever these streams might be. Firefox works fine as it is - IE is evil.

8. Look, there's no one more anti-IE than me, but
I can make an exception for Randi!

I use the extension within Firefox

Question: I'm a Windows user using Firefox and your stream doesnt play. Why?
Answer:

Follow these steps for Windows users only:

1) Make sure you have upgraded to Firefox version 3. You can download it for free from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/?from=getfirefox.
2) Download the IE Tab plugin for Firefox 3 from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419.
3) Install the plugin then be sure to restart Firefox.
4) From the Firefox menu, choose Tools, then choose IE Tab Options.
5) Copy and paste this into the URL field: */cc-common/ondemand/player.html* (be sure to include the "*" at beginning and the end as seen in the example above).
6) Click Add.
7) Click OK.
8) Launch our Streaming Player by either clicking the "Listen Live" button near our logo, or by clicking here.
9) Our player should now play as expected.

** Windows Vista Users: To install addons to Firefox, right-click on the Firefox icon on your desktop and choose "Run as Administrator". Then install the addon using the steps above.

15. Thanks for posting that link Sydnie. WJNO and 960 didn't work for
me. When I say "didn't work," I mean I got connections, but it wasn't Randi.

The link you posted brought in Randi. Thanks!

4. Wow... I wish I could redirect my xm stream...
I was curious to listen, but it certainly seems you NEED to hear it more than I, at least now... Good luck finding a stream.. I'm betting it will be archived for later podcasting if not...;)

6. Go to Internet Explorer
all Clear Channel stations have flipped to this new thing and I can't do Foxfire now either and the downloads aren't doing anything.

10. Open IE go to listen live. @KTALK..
Once you have the listen live page going you can close the IE browser keeping the player open but minimized.
THEN open Firefox and browse like always. This works well for me.
Good Luck!

18. Same here.
I got the IE tag to work in Firefox, but I need Firefox to do my work. So I use IE just to play the player.

17. Yes, THAT one works for me.
Unfortunately, I have to listen to Randi while watching Rachael.

See, my problem is work related. The company blocks all streams of a certain type, and that type is 95% of radio streams.
