2. One of the reasons I'm retiring to Costa Rica in 7 years.

I can afford to retire early in Costa Rica. Health insurance costs would kill me here in the states...and the quality of care is actually as good or better there.

3. Lots of American expats down there. A friend of mine owns a few hundred acres of waterfront there ..

.... and has offered to sell me a few to build on ....... so I have looked into the country. Good and bad as it seems thus far. Most people suggest Belize.
