I respect the hell out of comedians, even the ones I can't stand like that git 'er done guy or Adam Corrolla. It takes serious guts to go out there and just lay it out.

As for Wanda, her style is not what I normally go for in comedy, the over the top shock value stuff, but she does it so well. I watch her delivery, and you can tell she's worked hard to get the pacing and wording and the gestures and the tone of voice down. Even when she's talking about the most lurid stuff, I'm at least impressed, even if I cringe like I swallowed a lemon. She's probably bombed a thousand times to get that good.

Comedy isn't a roadmap, it's walking a tightrope, and you just never know what's going to happen.

There was a bit of awkwardness that I didn't expect from her. I wouldn't be surprised if it was written close to what you did and she flubbed it. Wouldn't be the first time Wanda blew a line. But she's a trooper and carries on.

But then, I have a very dark sense of humor... I can even appreciate kidney failure jokes... I love Keith, but sometimes he has a big stick up his ass when someone else is in the limelight. He never seems to want to give Stewart or Colbert kudos when they pull off one of these smackdowns either. I think he is a principled and decent guy, but he does come off as somewhat personally vain at times.
