Remember Georgie's drug bill ???

Passed in the wee hours of the morning after keeping the vote open in the House for hours. The supposed threat of withholding 100k campaign support for Congressman Smith's son running for his seat. The bill not allowing Medicare to negotiate with drug sompanies for lower costs, nor go outside to Canada.
My Humana drug insurance: Year one - 16.00 per month
Year two - 22.00 per month
Year three- 38.00 per month

The real hurt for seniors this year will be the expected no COLA. And perhaps next year also.

1. That bill was PROOF that our Congress is OWNED by Pharma

No one can explain with ANY credibility how a plan that FORBADE negotiating for the best price on behalf of the citizens of the US and FORBADE the importation of lower costing drugs from another country did anything but reward an industry for past and future favors and say very openly to the American public FU!!

And not much appears to have changed in this regard as we "negotiate" a new healthcare structure.
