Watched last hr. of Senate Committee on HealthCare Reform---Help

At the very end Baucus asked Wilensky(panel member) to tie up
lose ends so to speak. She began by listing some accomplishments, ie,
Expansion of Children's Coverage, etc. THEN she said I need to reinforce
the necessity of Lowering expectations.

Then Baucus goes on with, this may take months , even Years.

Earlier, I heard someone say, it will take ten years to implement the plan.

What is going on??? Are we backing away from Health Care Reform??

something, so people stop chomping at the bit, and then hope and pray things get better so you don't have to actually do something.

on this country ever doing anything for its people. They're so busy trying to figure out how to keep bad corporations going so they can continue to prey on us they've lost sight of what their real purpose in life and elected office is supposed to be.

7. The Finance Committee seems to be.

I don't think it should have been heard by them to begin with. Wouldn't it belong in the Senate Committee For Health, Education, Labor and Pensions to identify the needs and solutions, then move to the Finance Committee to debate how to implement and pay for it? The downside is that Senator Kennedy is the chairman and he favors the Baucus plan.
