And on that note, we're still a country with torturers going free, a for-profit healthcare scam, a justice system for the rich, the biggest propaganda network ever created and a completely collapsed financial system that is being totally propped up by a government that represents the very people who caused the collapse. So go ahead, correct my spelling, tell me how it's only been 100 days, tell me how clueless I am -- I just don't care about peoples worthless opinions anymore.

I'm an Obama supporter but if you really think that Obama or any other man can step into the presidency and fix our problems then Ive got a bridge Ill sell you. Without some courage in congress, nothing can happen. Congress can fix these problems WITHOUT the help or CONSENT of the president. If you want single payer...congress can do it. If you want investigations into torture...congress can do it... If you want credit card reform...Congress can do it. The Congress really has the power in this country just ask Hillary Clinton. When she tried to help fix the health care issue, the democratic controlled congress shot her down.

Everyone wants to get their little piece of the pie.

But the underlying problem is a global economic system that is classist and fascist and has been a long, long time.

You can't really "fix it" one piece at a time. Yeah, maybe you win one battle here but loose two battles there.

To really make significant change you have to identify the core of the beast and go for the jugular.

we all spend way too much online, but at the same time, that's exactly what is changing everything isn't it? The online presence of progressives are what stoked the fire 8 years ago, made it so Howard Dean moved grassroots movements into more mainstream discussions, which in turn helped develop the 50 state strategy, which in turn , we have Obama, and although it's not all perfect, at least we have begun to steer the country in a better direction than where it was surely headed. Progressive thinking will begin to rule-you'll see.
