If bush was still prez and said releasing the photos of torture could result in more deaths for our troops/etc and told his attorneys to try and stop them - what would you say?

3. Release them. Enough of the bullshit.

Our troops were in danger the moment Bush/Cheney sanctioned "Pre-emptive War", carpet bombing of civilians, i.e.; "Shock and Awe" and TORTURE. Release the photos, and then prosecute the perpetrators of these crimes. Let the world see that American does not condone torture in any way, shape or form.

8. Same thing I do now. Bull. Overall I'm VERY happy w/Obama but this is CRAP.

Truly. We can't keep covering up the past. It's like dropping a turd in the wash water. You might be able to shove it down to the bottom out of sight for a little while, but sooner or later it's going to rise back up to the top, and it's going to make a mess on the way. Better to throw it out into the sunlight now so it can dry up and blow away.
