Anybody need a star?
I'm about to make my last donation of this campaign, so let me know, okay?

4. I am having a terrible time getting PayPal to finish my transaction.
But I promise to make it happen as soon as they clear the bottleneck.

And, you're welcome.

I hope that soon you will have too much money and can buy a star for someone else!

8. Back when I used credit cards, I found that often a second charge for the same amount
on the same day would be declined. I was always able to make it work by just adding one cent and trying again. :D
(Mailed in my donation, it will take a while to get to DU)

7. Oh, I hope so, too!
These past 4 years have been difficult for us. We are living on SS and now my husband lost his part-time job due to the economy. Plus everything is going up in price. I hope things turn around soon, but it looks like it is going to be rough for quite awhile.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your kind generosity!

10. Ta-DA!!
It finally went through this morning.

Meanwhile I've traveled to NYC for a trade show and on my way there this morning Mr. Austin called in a panic from Texas.

He was looking online at our bank account and there were all these PayPal transactions for the exact same amount of money.

He thought his identity had been stolen and someone was funneling money out of our bank account in small enough increments that maybe he wouldn't notice.

He finally got a fraud prevention person who asked if he had a wife or daughter who might be using the account, and if so he might want to ask her about it.

Whereupon he called me and I was pleased to remind him that I had told him that I was spreading out my donations so I could enter the contests every day.

I don't know if he was more relieved or embarrassed. :)
