Investigators identified a husband and wife today who died in a murder-suicide in Canton that also led to the death days later of their five-month-old son.

They said the husband shot the wife to death and then killed himself, leaving the couple’s five-month-old son in a swing in the bedroom.

The baby lived for several more days. He apparently died of starvation and dehydration, police said.

Bailey said investigators believe the baby only died about two days ago, “obviously from neglect, starvation, dehydration - we probably could have saved the baby if somebody would have called.”

I could NEVER imagine that happening to him. It's devastating even to think about that by association.
