Debate over torture prompts soul-searching by evangelicals
That's the title of an article by AP writer Eric Gorski in today's Tucson Daily Star. It was quite interesting, but the one sentence that stuck out for me was: "Those who attend religious services at least once a week were more likely than those who rarely or never attend to say torture is sometimes or often justified in that scenario (to obtain important information)--54 percent to 42 percent."
Doncha just love religion?

4. Um, if you have to "search your soul" to figure out what you think about torture...
You're already lost.
