Right wing ditz Elisabeth Hasselbeck just got PWNED by Jesse "The Body" on THE VIEW. During a discussion on torture Ventura schooled Hasselbeck who tried her best to use the issue to attack Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and of course President Barack Obama. Ventura was having none of it.

We may update this post a few times after watching Ventura's mastery over and over again today.

I thought 'this is it, this is pretty much the beginning of the dumbing down' and thought what are the people of Minnesota thinking. Now...

I'm sure there are many many things I would disagree with him about, and almost certainly the power of lowered expectations plays a part here-look, he NOT so dumb-but at least I can respect the guy.

One of the reasons, btw, the right hates this kind of opposition, is because Jesse doesn't fit into their favorite caricature types: he's not a 'point headed intellectual', he's not an 'ivory tower latte drinking snob', he's not a 'damn dirty hippie', he's not 'fat hairy feminist', he's not 'a limp wristed fag', etc. People like Jesse cut them off at the knees.
