Simple question. All these pro lifers who protested at Notre Dame - their view on killing in war?
I would be willing to bet that this is demographic that were gung-ho, red meat about the Iraq War. So, clearly - to me - these hypocrites are not pro-life, they are "pro-life as long as they are just like me".

And where do these people go when it is time to provide support for these unwanted babies?

1. whatever their thoughts on the war
they surely did not protest it - they're hypocrites, just like all so-called "pro-lifers"

3. It's a good question
because the Catholic Church takes an offical stance against war, yet you didn't see enraged Catholics protesting when Bush or one of his minions spoke at commencements (I'm sure that some Bushies must have spoken at some Catholic commencement).

6. Close, but the Catholic Church espouses Just War, which...
is war only allowable under some very strict circumstances. I'm not sure about the Pope, but many US bishops protested mightily against Iraq as not even being close to Just War, and many of us Quakers marched for peace with Pax Christi.

Catholic teaching is also against the death penalty, btw, but you don't see many of them protesting executions.

They have something called "Seamless Garment of Life" which is a really well thought out teaching of the how precious human life is and it should be honored and preserved. The anti-abortion part of it follows from the "life begins at conception" belief, but other than that there is a lot to learn from it.

4. Killing our children
One of the protesters called out, "Why are you killing our children?" Our children, Iraqi children, born and unborn were killed by the Bush Administration but did they protest about that?

7. Not right to life, only right to birth
These idiots care less what happens to the child after it leaves the womb.
Education
Health Care
War
Jobs
etc.

8. They're only "pro life' if you're not born
If you're already alive you're SOL
