Get The Gitmo Prisoners Into U.S. Prisons And Close Gitmo......
as it seems to me that this would be a good way of flushing out other terrorists in the U.S.

Let them have visitors come to the prison and visit the Gitmo prisoners after they're put in a U.S. prison.

Then turn the FBI on to the visitors - a perfect job for the FBI.

They find out who their visitors are and make these visitors lives hell by investigating them, bugging them, following them.

Doesn't this sound like a good way to expose a potential terrorist network in the U.S. if they are here. It's a hell of a lot better and easier than torturing the Gitmo prisoners to give this info up.

Let the terrorists come to us.

Now if we keep these prisoners at Gitmo - there will never be a way to expose terrorists cells in the U.S.

Also - the objection that these Gitmo prisoners would influence other prisoners in the U.S. prisons and indoctrinate them into terrorist ways is B.S.

We all know that they can isolate these Gitmo prisoners so that they have no contact with other prisoners.

Come on - all of this is a smoke screen.

The pols in D.C. are just worried that when they are running for re-election that their opponents can use this against them - that they put our country in danger by letting these Gitmo prisoners in the U.S.

Or is this just a rope-a-dope by Obama again to find out what all the objections are and then put a plan together that overcomes these objections?

You know lets get them to expend all their objections - then - show that the plan is so good that they look silly.

1. Or rather, shouldn't they be tried according to some criminal code PRIOR to sentencing?
Why are we putting these people anywhere without bringing forth charges, evidence and trials?

2. Exactly.
How can they go to prison if they haven't been convicted of any crimes?
