For all his shortcomings, Richard Nixon did not seek to get out of military service. And, he had actual cause for exemption as a Quaker.

No, Cheney is far worse than Nixon ever was, for any number of reasons. He needs a nickname that sets him apart.

I truly believe he wants the US to be attacked while Obama is president, the worse the attack the better for Cheney. Then he can come out when people are at their most frightened and vulnerable and, regardless of the circumstances surrounding the attack, say "This is why I did what I did. I kept you safe. I warned you about Obama..." etc.

The Limbaughs and Hannitys would know exactly how to spin it, they would go self-righteously ballistic - they want to see an attack, too. They have their priorities you know.
