Huliq News Ask his doctors and nurses. Juan Gonzales is different than most being treated in a hospital. He is in Georgia's Redmond Regional Medical Center. And his story is a sad one.
Juan is dying, in his teen years. He cannot speak English, and his final wish is to see his parents and family again, before he dies. But he and they are separated by thousands of miles of distance and of course, red tape.
I adore them and love them so much. I would tell them how much I need them by my side during this difficult time.Juan Gonzales' family is in Guatemala. Last year Juan joined the millions of illegal immigrants in the U.S. He traveled to Georgia to get a job so he can send money to his parents.
Suddenly, last November, his heart began to fail. According to his doctor, his heart muscle is very weak, and with his status, doctors say he is unlikely to receive a transplant.
