I took BOSSHOG's advice and shrunk down my DD-214, laminated it, and carry it with me. Whenever some shithead chickenhawk tells me I'm unpatriotic, or that I don't support the troops, I show them the section whic indicates that I rate the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Bronze Star with "V" for valor, and two Purple Hearts. That tends to lead to a sudden onset of STFU syndrome.
