I don't know what I expected - I mean, she's Dick and Lynne's spawn - but I was shocked. She's ill-informed, rude, mouthy, intolerant, and far too vociferous - like her father, she protests too much.

Why the hell is she getting ANY air time? I posted elsewhere that I remembered one of the Nixon daughters making some feeble statements defending her father during Watergate, but, other than that, I don't recall any political figure hiding behind a daughter's skirts, or anyone sending a kid or any family member out to run interference for him/her.

considering that her father was the Vice President? Even though he didn't have a direct supervisory role over her, it still seems to me that it should not have been legal for the Vice-President's daughter to hold such a high job at the State Department.

Point 2. The only reason we prosecuted others for waterboarding is because the torturers also did other things.

Point 3. She says Obama is making this country less secure by releasing the memo explaining torture techniques.

Many many posts on this board are nothing more than people venting their frustrations. Something is accomplished
when others vent their frustrations. The listener knows they are not along in their feelings.

Sound logical arguments are being brought forth ALL THE TIME and are completely ignored.
Besides, anyone who follows this board or political blogs know all the arguments already.

More to the point: Keith Olbermann quite often utters personal attacks and accomplishes quite a lot if you ask me.
