Used to was this was the kind of campaign DU would get behind. Seems like not so much now.
Please tell me why this is not a great idea.

Thanks so much for being a part of the Dollar a Day to Make Norm Go Away campaign we're doing with Howard Dean's Democracy for America.
Some big news. Norm Coleman's insistence on being a sore loser has now raised over $100,000 to help progressives defeat Republicans in 2010.
Today, we're "doubling down" on our strategy -- announcing a new public goal of $200,000.
Together, we're changing the incentives for Coleman's DC Republican funders who have been encouraging him to drag his court appeals out forever to keep Al Franken out of the Senate. Now, every day Norm refuses to concede, he's helping to defeat Republicans.
$200,000 is an ambitious goal, so we really need your help. Can you take 1 minute to forward this email to 5 of your progressive friends -- encouraging them to join our campaign at NormDollar.com? <

At that site, they can see last weekend's video of Minnesotans presenting Coleman with a giant check made out to progressives from him.
Your help is truly needed to reach our new goal -- and truly appreciated. Thanks for supporting the cause, and for being a bold progressive.
