""I want to find out if it's torture," Mancow told his listeners Friday morning, adding that he hoped his on-air test would help prove that waterboarding did not, in fact, constitute torture..."

"The average person can take this for 14 seconds," Marine Sergeant Clay South answered, adding, "He's going to wiggle, he's going to scream, he's going to wish he never did this."

With a Chicago Fire Department paramedic on hand, Mancow was placed on a 7-foot long table, his legs were elevated, and his feet were tied up.

Turns out the stunt wasn't so funny. Witnesses said Muller thrashed on the table, and even instantly threw the toy cow he was holding as his emergency tool to signify when he wanted the experiment to stop. He only lasted 6 or 7 seconds."

4. If torture isn't difficult to watch for someone, there's something very wrong with them.

5. summer soldiers and sunshine patriots
i get such a kick out of assholes who have no idea what military service requires and expects, both physically and emotionally.

this is memorial day. a time to put aside the petty shitheadedness of partisanship and acknowledge the debt we owe to our dead brothers and sisters in arms.

my era gave over 50,000 men and women to that goddamned war. every one of us who put on the uniform back then were completely acquiesed to the commitment that if sam sent us to southeast asia, we'd be killers, or let them kill us. there's a profundity in that concept that escapes everyone who did not, would not, could not serve.

i go from angry to maudlin when i think of today's uninformed shitheads like this radio hole and contrast their blithering to the acts and deeds of the kids i went through basic, ait, and overseas service with.

damn, damn, damn.

attention!

present, arms!

ready, two.

at ease.
