The dumbest post I've seen today
From a freeper, of course.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2257274/posts

" The reality of pollution and global scamming is that there is absolutely no damage done to the earth from the production of energy or goods and services. We have scrubbed our smokestacks to the point of absurdity. Just as the doomsday predictions of the coming ice age or the world ending hole in the ozone, these activists are always exaggerating the truth. The smoke that comes out of the smokestack will be purified in the wind and eventually falls to the earth. These particles drop either onto the ground or into the oceans never to be seen again. CO2 is beneficial to growing plants both on land and the sea.

The earth is so large and the atmosphere so immense and volatile that there is no danger of causing harm to the earth. If there was going to be death and destruction from pollution it would have happened in the early industrial age when everything was powered and heated by coal and we saw no permanent damage to the earth. The earth is so immense, the entire of mankind is an ant on an elephant yet the Environazis act like it is just the opposite.

As we continue to advance our technology we will only get more efficient and cleaner making the atmosphere cleaner and cleaner. The fact that we were the largest producer in the world did not make us the largest polluter, that honor goes to either China or Russia. These are emerging economies that have been Turd World Countries that lack the technology to efficiently produce. As they catch up technologically they too will become as clean a producer as we are. If we fall back into the Turd World our efficiently will drop and our pollution will go up.

We can no longer afford these feel good, earth worship destructive policies. We need to drop the alternative energy boondoggle, which ends up meaning Arab Oil, and concentrate on what is the most efficient way to produce manufacture and move people. Those are cars and planes for transportation and Nuculear, Oil and Coal for energy. Safe large cars to drive families as well as carry groceries as opposed to those Fart Cars that tip over if you don’t have 2 bags in the passenger seat. Didn’t see any Fart Cars running around in the snow last year yet would have been great targets for a few snowballs. Can’t wait to see one of those smug drivers under the bumper of a Bus since in reality they are impractical for families. How many trips in those coffins on wheels to get your kids to school?

The Dems have used this issue the same way Nazi Pelosi used "torture" as a bumper sticker campaign slogan to steal votes to enslave America. It sounds great until you see the bill. Just like torture they have used the Green movement to bash Repubs and cripple America. When the people realize that all of these global change cliches are nothing but ways to raise taxes and restrict our choices there will be a revolt that will make the Tea Parties look like a picnic.

If we we’re serious about doing what is best for the earth we would Drill our own oil and gas as well as begin building new nuclear plants. That would stimulate this economy immediately in all sectors and would make us far more efficient to remake this into the most powerful engine this World has ever seen now and into the future. The energy efficiency would lower pollution worldwide and feed and employ the world once again. If we follow the Cap and Tax global scamming crowd we will not only become Kenya, we would no longer have the $$ to afford technology to run clean. We would become far more polluting than we are today. Global Warming needs to be exposed for how it will Freeze America to death."

----

I can't explain my endless fascination with these people, but there it is. Especially when I see their talking points repeated here, on DU.

1. Yep
Environmentalists are the reason the economy is in the shitter.

They spew mercury from their curly que lightbulbs and make fish eat the mercury.

They torture too!!

Glad we finally discovered the source of all our problems.

2. Anyone using "Turd World" immediately loses all credibility
it becomes impossible to finish reading what they say, particularly when it anything else he's said to that point has been nonsense.

4. After all, since when did referring to 'Fart Cars' damage one's cogent argument?
Pure genius, these folks.

17. No shit! (no pun intended)
Pretty coldhearted way to refer to something so heartbreaking.

I wonder if this idiot laughs at little starving children with flies crawling around their faces.

3. "Global scamming"?
That's it--I'll offer a star to anyone who will go over there with a registered account and start posting, very seriously, about how the "theory" of gravity is a liberal hoax.

6. Well, I'm glad to see that Jesus would waterboard to protect his dad.
And his virgin mom.

That one's sarcasm, isn't it? Or is it?

Jesus's torturing people to protect his mom?

Who's creating God in his image again?

I guess he missed the chapter on how to efficiently produce and manufacture people in his "Freeper Homeskooling Manuel, Expanded Edishun, 9 pages"
