4. it's a scam!
they start sending you these stupid texts questions about once a week for you to answer to be in a drawing for prizes. But, unbeknownst to you - until you get your phone bill - they are charging you $9.99. Unfortunately, I fell for it!

assisted living arrangements. May be with this scam and the fake cell number, I might get a litle help from the Feds!

9. Hey man, in this day and age nothing would surprise me. I've tried to
play the game before and always stopped when they asked for my ID
and phone number. This time I figured what the hell and added a fake cell phone number.

12. If any "free" doodad on the web ask for personal info,
...be it an email address, cell phone number, SS number or credit card number, they are absolutely going to use that information to either spam you, charge you or sell your information.

13. To fleece your wallet, most likely.
The cleavage shot of the woman who claims "I made $ thousands $ by posting links on google" is an even bigger SCAM.
They offer information and contacts, for just $2 on your credit card. A month later, you will see another $80 on your credit card bill.

I found this out by doing a google search. I am so fuck9ng tired of seeing tantalizing offers, looking into them, and finding out they are scams.

Worse, there are so many scams directed toward job seekers nowadays. Most notably for "government jobs" that want you to pay money to get information. It's a scam.

Surveymonkey tries to get you to fill out surveys for the random chance of winning big bucks, but only after you give them all your vital information. Also a scam.

If you have doubts, do a search of the domain name + scam

must be the economic crunch we are in. Love those fake jobs where you are asked to cash checks for a company at your bank, take your share and send on the remainder to a designated person.

Those can get you in real doodoo!!!

16. ....NO WAY!
How outrageous! I have not seen that scam.

Around here, workforstudents.com and Vector Marketing are both marginal scammy businesses that target community college students and high schoolers. They advertise 13.50 an hour, but it's a lie. You have to buy a set of knives before you can go selling knives door to door. I have read that they also are in the door to door coupon selling business, and it is commission only.
