8. I lost a friend the other day

Sudden heart attack. 65 years old. He was a Vietnam vet with severe PTSD, yet he lived life as best as he could and better than many. His passing has left a big hole in my universe.

To all the Veterans today;

And I always wonder what all those young people who have died in war would be doing today. It sure wouldn't be killing people.
