Was he a saint? Of course not. Did he lead a perfect or near perfect life. Of course not.

Both of these men were better than most, but not perfect. They were flawed, just as we all are, but they had fewer flaws than most. It's unreasonable to expect perfection from any human, and to hold up one of their flaws, big or small, as vindication for our own failings is just wrong. King's affairs and Kennedy's mansion are not indicators of why we revere these men. They are not why I remember them.
