Schwarzenegger makes fat joke about Limbaugh!

Good for a Giggle. Rush is irrelevant, at least this Republican Governor agrees.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger renewed his on-again, off-again feud with Rush Limbaugh by cracking a fat joke about the talk-show host during an online chat with CNN.com Wednesday.

Schwarzenegger was asked whether he thought Limbaugh was the leader of the Republican Party.

"Look, I think they say that Rush Limbaugh is the 800-pound gorilla in the Republican Party," Schwarzenegger said. "But I think that's mean-spirited to say that because I think he's down to 650 pounds. So I think one should be fair to him about this whole thing."
He then said, "in all seriousness," the Republican Party needs to listen to voters and build its moderate ranks to rebound.

The Republican governor began his war of words with Limbaugh during his post-partisan kick in 2007. He said at the time that Limbaugh was "irrelevant" on NBC's Today show.

I don't care and I find it good that it's coming from a Rethug. Limbaugh has it coming to him and he deserves much worse. Much, much worse. If I were to go into detail, I'd be banned from DU. Let's just say, you imagine the worst possible thing one could do to him, then multiply that by 10. Now you're approaching what he deserves.

If what you want to do to Rush is the right thing you wouldn't be worried about mentioning it. :)

There a million things to bust his balls about, why choose his weight when it's clearly a sensitive issue to overweight people? That doesn't hurt Rush, it hurts them. :shrug:

You're right, there are plenty of other things to bust his balls about. It was a cheap dig, but not surprising coming from a body cultist like Schwarzenegger. I think it does hurt Rush, though. Remember back in the 90s when a caller on his radio programme called him the 'Jabba the Hut' of the airwaves? He really dropped a ton (no pun intended) of weight shortly thereafter. He knows he's an unattractive man. He's known this all of his life, which, no doubt, has contributed to his pathology. I know, the real unattractiveness is the slime he carries inside, but anything that hurts him is ok in my book. Such childish digs would hurt us if, say, someone in the administration said them, but the fact that it came from a Rethug is a win/win for us.

Sidebar: I know a few obese people who'd be the first to call him "fatty"; one of them is around 310 lbs. and calls him "Lardballs". Go figure.
