US officials 'kind of worried' over activity at North Korean military facility
Edited on Thu May-28-09 11:08 PM by thewiseguy
U.S. intelligence officials have spotted activity at a key North Korean military facility that has them "kind of worried," a senior official told FOX News.

Support activity, including the movement of certain vehicles and personnel, has been spotted at Sanumdong, a research-and-development complex, the official said. The activity is consistent with that observed prior to the launch of the Taepodong-2 missile in the past.

The official said part of the concern, given the fact that Sanumdong is not itself a launch site, is that the North Koreans may be preparing to move a warhead by rail -- for an unknown purpose.

2. I think it's likely they are moving more missiles to a launch site
But it's pretty well known they don't have the capability to put a nuclear warhead into a missile at this point. They may have fired all the missiles they had (which were quite a few) at the site this last week. It wouldn't surprise me if they launched more this week. The other possibility is they are preparing to test another nuclear bomb. If they did have the technology and did launch a nuclear missile (even in a test) I would almost bet they would be attacked by the US and South Korea.
