Most people here think the MSM is a bunch of liars...right? Then why
when the MSM says something negative about a candidate they don't like people take the MSM words hook, line and sinker as the gospel.

But when the MSM says something negative about their favorite candidate the MSM has a RW slant and is afraid of their candidate's campaign prowess?

Food for thought.

1. Easy. Personal Convenience.
Tis a shame too. There's far more honor in being objective no matter what one's position on a topic is.

I hear ya, Xultar.

4. I tell you right now. The MSM fuck with any of our candiates and I'm in their shit
with letters and phone calls.

I live in CNN so I'll drive down to their HQ and make sure they get a piece of my mind. (not like I have much to spare though.)

2. it even extends to overtly Right Wing sources
if it fits their agenda, some people will favorably quote the Washington Times, WorldNetDaily, etc. Especially about Hillary Clinton.

9. Amazingly,
they do the same thing on Free Republic. The MSM are cowardly and lazy, but they are neither left or right. They blow with the breeze and have to be shamed into actually looking deeper into stories, soundbites are so much easier.Except for Fox,or course, they're just naked right wing assholes.

15. Because people will always cheer whatever supports their POV but dismiss whatever doesn't
Just look at any thread that posts a poll result:

If the poll reflects attitudes that are held on DU then the poll is valid and praised.

However, if the poll shows something that disagrees with the majority view on DU then either the math is flawed, the polling firm is headed by a Republican hack, or the people who were polled were just flat out idiots.

The same attitude towards polls reigns on FR and it would be great if posters on both sides would acknowledge that polls (esp. on-line polls) that support their POV are no more valid than those that don't. However, I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for that to happen.
