Hill's political gathering
For those of you who watching intently or even tuned in and out... did you happen to hear ONE question about Iraq??? No, you didn't!!! For such a free speech zone, you might want to know, everyone was told there would be NO IRAQ QUESTION! Interesting eh?? I certainly found it so. After waiting and waiting for anyone, anyone to begin that dialogue, I finally realized what was going on.

It's my understanding, this is not the first time either..

1. One man asked something about the 21,500 troops going to Iraq,
but she didn't answer that question. She started talking about health care for veterans.

I was waiting for either her or someone from the audience to talk about Iraq.

2. How did you learn that everyone was told no Iraq questions?
Substantiation is appropriate.

10. Widely reported
It was widely reported after she opened her 'Let's Chat' website, that she wasn't taking any questions regarding Iraq...both in print news and on cable networks!!

I wondered, in the back of my mind if she was going to do this again... so after doing some channel hopping, I heard on one of the networks (I THINK it was MSNBC) that there would be no Iraq questions dealt with. It all 'fit' so nicely, after the reporting of her 'chats' being Iraq free, I was eager to believe it. After listening, it all fit together so nicely...makes perfect sense.

Why is she doing this??? I'll leave this to your own reasoning. I'm sure we can all come to the answers. I expect more of this as she begins touring for her campaign. Eventually though, she will be forced to deal with the questions.

This one was 'billed' as an economic issue 'opener'..

13. "Widely reported" - Please provide some links
You "think" it was MSNBC. And I "think" you need to provide concrete substantiation for your allegation.

Since you say there was so much about this on the networks, it should be easy for you to do your proper homework and provide us with links of verification.

Thanks in advance.

6. How do you know they were told not to ask any Iraq questions?
Do you have a link?

Yeah, I noticed there were no Iraq questions and that's what I was watching for.:( *sigh* I want her to let me forgive her for that vote. I want her to apologize for it. I want her to say thie illegal invasion was wrong. I want her to call for withdrawal. I WANT to support the first female presidential candidate, but she won't let me.:(

8. Where's the evidence to support your claim?
Did it occur to you that perhaps there are other pressing issues on people's minds? So one town meeting doesn't have an Iraq question. It's hardly the end of the world.

11. I am not sure that is the exact concern that was expressed.
I think it had to do with "why" there wasn't one question. If they didn't ask any questions because they didn't have any and wanted to discuss the many other important issues, (which of course there are, agreed)... then fine. If they were told "no Iraq questions" then I want to know they were told that. That makes the ENTIRE difference to me.
