1. yes, very disappointing
I was looking forward to their traditional full coverage. Looks like they got their White House orders.

3. C-span NEVER shows the whole march.
It's more than a little bit of a logistical nightmare to try to follow the crowd.

They did however show about 3 hours of the rally live - all the speakers - and broke away when everyone was dispersing to start the march.

Also said it will rebroadcast later this evening.

What more do you want ? Jeez. :eyes:

10. What more do I want? How about this:
C-SPAN showed the protest for the RNC convention in 2004, AND THE ENTIRE MARCH.

They can do it. Frankly it is the most important thing going on today, so they should do it.

I'm glad they showed the rally. However, it is the size of the march that gives lie to the 'tens of thousands' line.

That's what more I want.

4. Never saw Laura Ingraham before. She looks almost as crazy
as Ann Coulter. I have heard her screed on the radio before, well about five minutes when I had to turn it off in order not to to do damage to the radio.

So this is what a roomful of conservative women look like, huh? At times like this veiling women seems like an attractive idea, or at least pass some paper bags around.

7. is ANYONE covering this?
Other than the "street" webcams and the occassional post by a liveblogger? I see MSNBC has a mention of the protest in the front page of their webpage, but as I commented to another board, it's insipid coverage, with nothing of note. No TV media, no radio media coverage (other than radio pacifica which switched to all blues after the speeches). There could be anywhere from "a few thosand" to over 600000 people there. Can't we do something to increase coverage? call the networks, etc? or is this going to be another "could have been" protest that will die due to lack of coverage?

9. I seem to recall...
C-Span covering the march after the speeches in the past ( at least for a half hour or more), they cut away to put on Hillary, why would she schedule this at a time when she has to know it will but in to the only live coverage on T.V ( continuous/uninterupted). GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:grr:
