Russian scientists 'alarmed' as millions of birds begin falling from world's skies

http://english.pravda.ru/science/earth/26-01-2007/86777-bird_flu-0

An alarming series of reports from the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences Influenza Research Institute are reporting today that millions of avian species have succumbed, while in flight, to a rapidly evolving virus linked to the deadly H5N1 Bird Flu variant.

Doctor Scientist Oleg Kiselyov, the head of the Influenza Research Institute, states in these reports that a nematode parasite belonging to the 'Superfamily Subuluroidea' has now become a carrier of a 'mutated' H5N1 Bird Flu Virus with 'sub strains' never seen before.

More horrifically are that these reports state that this mutated H5N1 Bird Flu virus has now 'jumped' the 'species barrier' and is now infecting both animals and insects, and which has also been confirmed by Indonesian scientists, and as we can read as reported by the Malaysian National News Service in their report titled "Indonesian Scientist Warns Of Bird Flu In Flies", and which says:

snip...
Doctor Scientist Kiselyov further states that Western scientists are rejecting Russia's research and are instead reporting to their citizens 'other causes' to explain the growing number of mass bird deaths in mid-flight, including Sri Lanka, and which has become yet another of the World's Nations to report birds falling from sky dead
snip...
The United States, also, continues to keep the dire situation facing our World's avian species from this virus from their citizens, even as more reports of mass bird deaths continue to rise in their country, including the latest report from their Western Regions which are reporting this week on the deaths of hundreds of ducks
snip...
The White House on Wednesday unveiled a foreboding report on the nation's lack of preparedness for a bird flu pandemic, warning that such an outbreak could kill as many as 2 million people and deal a war-like blow to the country's economic and social fabric. It urged state and local governments to make their own preparations beyond the federal efforts. (Source: Bird Flu News)

This concerns me cause he is right I have checked Birds have been reported dying all over South Dakota Oregon Texas And Idaho
This could be the other shoe that Bush is gonna drop on us...Pandemic FEMA ...Whats your feelings DUERs

4. Russia reports it, and we don't .
OMG.

Why do we wonder that brain dead shows like American Idol have such high viewership? I suggest 1: They have to search for REAL news, and they don't. So they don't know. Therefore kicking back, like everything is really okay. Truly naive. Truly ignorant. Whatever you want to call it. 2: They learned about this, and everyother horrible thing going on and need to completely go brain dead or their heads will explode off their necks.

8. Not at all.
Anyway, there have been a number of these things getting publicity lately, but it's sort of like the shark attacks in 2001: it's a "perception surge," caused by news reports about the same amount of incidents that always happen.

Putin is buying a bigger stake in Pravda soon if not already. Saw that recently in an article about the Russian Oil Industry specifically Gazprom.

And there is sometimes a shred of truth here and there you won't find many other places.

But its nearly a tabloid in every other way....

22. Our media is just so much more subtle
They don't often outright lie about things, they simply choose what stories to report (and it's funny how with all the 24 hour news outlets there are, there is such a lack of diversity in the news stories covered AND in how few stories are actually told).

Watch the CNN international edition or the BBC and compare it to the rest of the gaggle (ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, FOX). It's astounding the amount of sameness within the gaggle and even more astounding how different the international channels are.

I'm not saying that Pravda is what it's name means... far from it. I am just more upset about how our news organizations are getting closer and closer to Pravda every day. Especially if there is some disturbing news in the world that our corporate masters would rather us not know.

Did you know that US meat processing plants CANNOT test cattle for Mad Cow disease, even if they wanted to? A small meat packing facility in Kansas wanted to test meat for Mad Cow before shipping to Japan, but the USDA refused to allow them to perform such tests. Why? If there were thousands or millions of birds falling from the skies because of Bird Flu, do you think the corporate masters would want that story covered? Really? Which is not to say that this is true or not, there were a few stories recently in our news about entire flocks dying here in the US, but in each case (3 cases??) is was ruled NOT bird flu. All 3 stories died quickly.

18. Perhaps because US propoganda machine as evident in
Wilson trial ...Tim Russert and others were given plant stories about such things as WMD and remember Judith Millers book Germs

Our news media isn't a propoganda machine ??? Wilson trial is blowing that for the Bush Regime

Do you trust the Bush government and I only have to see the EPA who said the air was clear after 9/11 for rescue workers to be a bit suspicious Our news media said it was OK cause the EPA said it was OK

does that mean its Accurate

later we found its alie

23. Folx,
Please don't panic. SOme say that the Bird Flu is a hoax. Dr. Mercola wrote a book on it. If he is wrong, there are plenty of known and effective virus killers out there that THEY don't want you to know about. Natural medicines my friend. OIL OF OREGANO. It's extremely spicey and it burns, but it helps, a lot. Take Airborne at the first sign. Grapeseed and grapefruit oils. Also, recently I have read that the ForeverGreen company makers of FrequenSea have an essential oil out I think the name of it is, Spice of Life, and it was recently proven to kill the bird flu. NOT SNAKE OIL!!!! Don't fall into the trap of always believing there is no way out unless you take THEIR drugs(FDA approved) ..(mafioso gov.approved) Nature has always had the answer. Do your own research!

After all, the magnetic shield is fading, possibly because it's beginning to transition.

34. That's sad
for the birds. And I guess for people who love the beauty of most birds.

But honestly, the government has hapring about bird flu for a couple of years now and, what, maybe 100 people have died of it worldwide? Maybe up to 300? And zero in the U.S. So I'm not too afraid of bird flu.

Just like I'm not afraid of anthrax, bubonic plague, meteors or any other crap the government spews.
