It was GREAT to see Kucinich, Penn and Conyers speak!

:applause:

9. I know
I believe he was referring to 08 dem. prez candidates. Dennis was there, the other 20 odd dems hoping for the WH were not. That speaks volumes to me.

10. John Conyers should be focusing on Impeachment
He said he was going to keep on marching until the war ended.

But he is in Congress, he has the ability to do something. The protesters are out there to force Congress to listen to US. It makes no sense.

11. He really bothered me
in that Vietnam movie with Michael J Fox. The one where Penn's platoon rapes the little vietnmese girl. It took me a long time to get over that.

he is such a great actor it is hard to separate the acting from the actor. Another gripping performance was Mystic River where he kills Timothy Robbins. And there they were marching together today! :)

16. Oh I'm sure he did, I'm sure he still thinks that we can
put impeachment on the table as soon as Bush attacks Iran...

I don't understand this fascination with this guy. If he were a freep all of DU would be talking about his little trophy wife. And if he wants any kind of support from me he'll take back that wholly stupid statement about not putting impeachment on the table until Bush starts another war.

17. Bush should have been impeached last year
after he admitted to illegal wiretapping.

I agree that Dennis' statement is lame at best, but I am so desperate to get the ball rolling on Impeachment,I'll take anything that gets the discussion going, which inevitably will go to 'well why the fuck are we waiting for him to kill more people?'.

About the trophy wife...if this girl walked into your office and immediately 'fell in love' with you on your first meeting, agreed to marry you on your first date...would you turn her down? You can't blame the guy eh?

18. No I can't and I don't, especially since I have a thing for redheads
but it doesn't change the fact that if he were a repug he'd be getting hammered on DU for it.

19. Feingold sent a message to be read because he couldn't be there
Still, a far better representation by our representatives than we had Sept 24, 2005. There were so many outstanding speakers that Jerry Nadler and another Congressman didn't have time to speak even though they were on the stage.

I wasn't there for this one, but I was very glad that there was better Congressional representation. As far as '08 hopefuls, yeah, that was pretty pathetic not having anyone there, and they were called out by some of the speakers.

Dennis is a Democratic Presidential nominee. And the only one who had the courage to show. I hope everyone realizes that in the primaries.
