I haven't checked out today's protest online or on teevee, yet -- but I was there in Sept. 2005 and the crowd was incredibly diverse! I too, am a boomer and although we may have been the majority, I did see multiple large groups of younger and older people, as well as many many families with young children. One thing I did notice was not seeing many minorities.

3. I was there, and there were TONS of young people, just tons of

them! Even an SDS contingent with their red and black flags! Of course, there were all ages, races, etc.

The crowd was not nearly as big as the last antiwar march, but there seemed to be 50-100,000 people there at least. The last march really did have half a million -- it filled the whole damn mall and the streets all around. This one was not nearly as big. But it was still big. Sorry, too tired to post my pictures.
