Giuliani Casually Blames IRAN For 9/11
As for Iran, Mr. Giuliani said that “in the long term,” it might be “more dangerous than Iraq.”

He then casually lumped Iran with Al Qaeda. “Their movement has already displayed more aggressive tendencies by coming here and killing us,” he said.

Mr. Giuliani was asked in an interview to clarify that, inasmuch as Iran had no connection to the Sept. 11 attacks. Further, most of its people are Shiites, whereas Al Qaeda is an organization of Sunnis.

“They have a similar objective,” he replied, “in their anger at the modern world.”

In other words, he said, they hate America.

4. Is this an attempt to reinvigorate the RW base?
Outlandish comments calculated to coax them back into his fold?

Or is he just plain nuts?!

6. Since it was proved Saddam didn't and they can't catch bin Laden
Add that to a need for a justification to attack Iran. They need a new poster boy for terror. It will be easy for them all to take out the "q" and replace it with an "n" Iraq becomes Iran, new target for the republicon agenda.

7. Wow, he actually IS dumber than I thought!!
He doesn't know an Arab from a southwest Asian, or understand that they fucking HATE each other. The Persians think they're smarter than the Arabs, and the Arabs think the Persians are snobbish assholes.

He's every bit as dumb as George!!!

9. How 'bout we casually blame Guiliani for 9/11.
What makes him a hero to so many? Because he happened to look the other way and didn't heed warnings of an impending attack? Because he happened to be mayor of a city surely on any terrorist's list? Because he happened to run and hide just before the towers collapsed?

Honestly.

10. Great. Once again it is the Democrats versus the KKK.
"THey is out to get us. They is the enemy. They must be controlled, doncha see? Only us is good. Is you or is you not my constituency?"

Same routine. Greece had the Xenophobes. Rome saw Barbarians over every hill. Medieval Europeans had to fight the infidels. Early Americans slaughtered the Savages. My American South had to beat down the black folk (And the northeners weren't as much better as they think they were)... We all had to fight the Communists.

Now it's the Muslims. Giuliani doesn't know the difference between Sunni and Shi'a any more than Bush does, but he wants to kill them all anyway. Good for ratings, you know. Always someone to persecute, and usually that someone is a group minding it's own business in their own houses when they are attacked, robbed, and continually exploited from beyond their borders. When they fight back, they get blamed as the aggressors. They become "Them."

We have to win this election.
