7. Oh, please. Pay me. I would love to be a corporate shill on this issue.
Rather than just someone who cares about DU. The shill gig would be much more rewarding, and it would make the constant attacks more bearable.

10. The corporate lobbysists have been pushing the unrec feature
for years. They sit on corporate boards or in corporate jets, and have been plotting this strategy relentlessly. Their number one goal, over and above tax cuts, deregulation and relaxed labor enforcement, has been getting the unrec feature implemented at DU.

Resistance is futile.

12. Good question. I've always wondered where people go to apply for these great jobs.

I mean really, who would hire someone to sit on their ass, eating cheetohs, and posting horseshit on the internet all day?

What would that kind of work pay? I realize that's a typical (pathetic) accusation that crops up when someone doesn't like the argument of another--the old "I'll bet you're a PAID CORPORATE SHILL!!--but I just can't imagine who would hire some loser to do that kind of work. Do they get benefits, do you suppose?

Are they terribly LOYAL shills to their corporate masters? You'd think we'd hear from them if they were badly treated by their bosses....
