Stephen King is writing his scariest novel yet!

It's called "THE BASE."

It's about a group of people who have been trained from birth to react to certain words such as taxes, liberal, socialism, equality, and others. They never hear an entire sentence, they just respond in a very negative manner. As time goes by, their responses are increasingly violent.

The leadership has now been passed to a woman which signals major changes on the way for them. She is bearing what she says is God's word that was written in the frost on her windows. Her rallying cry is "You betcha."

Be afraid. Be very afraid..............

while the Base goes wild. One of the most frightening scenes in any Stephen King book.
