8. BS! Your own words used the past tense!!
"The way you wanted to be treated!" I guess you should have thought of that while you were being such an AH!

11. I figure that the way they treated us IS the way they wanted to be treated.
Since they're the party of True Christianity, I assume that they follow the Golden Rule. Therefore, I can only conclude that they treat others as they would want to be treated, and that therefore, when they get treated that way, it will be what they want.

At least that's how my logic works it out.

10. It was Maryland that secured America's right to give the President The finger.
After recieving a traffic ticket a Maryland motorist was arrested for giving the officer the finger. He took the case all the way to SCOTUS. They determined that was a protection that the President wasn't entitled to the officer also wasn't entitled to that protection. So it was inadvertantly established that giving the President the finger is protected political speech. From Maryland with Pride. (hey I found the thumbs in the smilies. Where are the fingers?)

6. I came home, turned it on and someone was calling for someone
else's words to be "taken down" because they called someone disengenuious. Then the chair ruled that they didn't make the request quickly enough. Then Hoyer made a motion to table the request to take the words down, the chair said the nays won but Hoyer called for a roll call. Then, I lost control of the tv. What happened after that and what is Boner having a fit about?

12. The republicans were whining, as far as I could tell, about the number of bills Dems were bringing
to the floor. Apparently they were upset that they were on the 9th bill that hadn't been to committee and was just brought straight to the floor. Basically accusing the Dems of ramming legislation down their throats without giving the Repukes a chance to stall.
