Anyone know if Chris Dodd has a homestead exemption on his DC house?
Remember that Rove, who claimed to vote in his home state of Texas, actually had a DC house with
home stead exemption, as did that NM Congresswoman? Senator? what's her name, the one that
got Inglesias fired.
some helpful DU person knew how to look up the DC residence homestead filings.

So,back to Dodd,re this:

Sens. Kent Conrad and Chris Dodd were told from the start they were getting VIP mortgage discounts from
Countrywide.
Dodd got two Countrywide mortgages in 2003, refinancing his home in Connecticut and another residence in Washington.
Conrad's two Countrywide mortgages in 2004 were for a beach house in Delaware and an eight-unit apartment building in Bismarck in his home state of North Dakota.

Just wondering which house they live in the most.
And if they have homestead exemption on the out of their home state, they are legally not Senators
"from" that state and should not be voting in that state, since homestead is only for primary residences.
So one way or the other, exemptions out of state mean breaking the law.

anyone know???????
