Tweety Provides Cover For C Street House Residents.....
Chris Matthews had Jeff Sharlett on Hardball questioning him about the book "The Family - The Secret Fundamentalism At The Heart Of American Power". When it was all said and done Tweety said now he'll get contacted by those pols mentioned on the broadcast. He's saying that the house is nothing more than a cheap place to live in D.C. - just like the YMCA is.

I just bought the book and began reading it. This is some scary stuff - and to think of all those pols that live there or used to live there. I wonder how this 'Family' has influenced the direction this country has gone in.

I'm wondering when their next National Prayer Breakfast is? And I wonder if they'll have the same turnout as in the past. I guess if it were me and I was a member of the D.C. power elite - because of all the publicity associated with this - I just might say I couldn't make it this year.

3. I think that is the same guy that was on Bill Maher last week.
What he had to say was stunning, to say the least. In fact, he even left Bill Maher speechless. He said that these legislators believe that they have only one true constituent: Jesus Christ. This is a scary bunch - a powerful, scary bunch.

4. Rick Sanchez also interviewed Sharlet on CNN this afternoon...

Sanchez seemed much more concerned about the cultish aspect of the group and stressed that they don't even like to call themselves Christian.

Their vision of Christ is much more in line with Ayn Rand.

5. The YMCA isn't classified as a "Church"
Nor does it actively lobby congress or seek to control legislators.
