It amazes me that some average citizens are willing to defend the insurance industry.

It baffles me that they want ZERO reform. Not just a tweak, but ZERO. I understand how some people would want to protect their own interests, but to say that the industry is completely perfect just seems insane.

It's like there is no evidence that things are way more expensive than they should be.

1. It's the same old common, typical, normal issue of white folks and their interests.

2. They don't really defend it. . .they try desperately to deflect
any conversation about it. And if you want to see them get silent...just say this to one of them:

"I'm so glad that you are so concerned about health care reform and so anxious to make sure we find some remedies to the current situation. I heard Blue Cross Blue Shield just raised their "premiums" 20% - will your Tea Party be at the next board of directors meeting to scream and shout them down and make sure yours are the only real American voices heard?"

3. It's the usual "I got mine, screw you" mentality.

4. Wait till they need a lifesaving procedure and their insurance company's 'death panel' declines
paying for it, as they have done to too many people dead and dying in this country. People whose families went bankrupt because of the high cost of healthcare that their insurance company refused to cover.

Stupid. Stupid.

5. Our school system is broken
These people are not morons, let's not underestimate the opposition.

They are just downright ignorant, and uneducated.

They lack the critical thinking skills required to separate facts from fabrications.

That is a failure that points to our school system.

I am not singling out the public school system, because some of these poor bastards are home schooled.

But the fact that we allow the ignorami to teach the next generation of ignorami, is also a failure of the school system.

6. What is the difference between being a moron of "downright ignorant and uneducated"?

8. Ignorance is curable
but a moron lacks the mental capacity to absorb learning.

The difference is between willingness and ability.

9. As far as they know, they aren't defending the insurance industry. They are protesting socialism
and Obama and death panels.

14. These average citizens that are defending the insurance industry are only doing what they are
programmed to do. They listen only to right wing radio and Fox News. They are brainwashed! The sheep do as they are told. They spree lies and preach hatred toward anyone that disagree with them or have a different opinion than their own. They are programmed to be VERY afraid of all Democrats. They are programmed to hate all Democrats and any policy that we are for.

15. These morons refuse to investigate the circumstances under which their children were sent to war.
They sure as hell don't know what's in their best interests health care wise.
