2. Halloween party we hosted in '82 - the next morning.....
...there were people (some I didn't even know) passed out on the floor, sidewalk and patio. Makeup all over the furniture and hunch-punch stains on the carpet.

Never again!

into a land route and a sea route home, the latter led by his friend Nearchus.

Nearchus' soldiers encountered a group in a lagoon of the Tomerus (Hiingol) River who

"were inhospitable and thoroughly bruitsh... . They lived off the flesh of stranded whales... . They caught fish in nets of palm bark and ate them raw."

and

"were hairy all over their bodies, living on fish only, possessing no iron, and using only stone implements"

and who

"...among their quirks of personal hygiene...let the nails of their fingers and toes grow from birth to old age... . For clothes they wore animal skins."

A Stone Age remnant tribe, in other words.

8. The Federalists
They got involved in an undeclared war, passed legislation restrictive of civil rights and politicized the judiciary, all to ensure an enduring Federalist majority. After losing the White House in 1800, they never won another presidential election and eventually disappeared.
