I am really liking Brad Pitt..
He seems to be setting up his life along the lines of Paul Neuman... A "prettyboy" Hollywood actor, using his money and name recognition to do good things for as many people as possible.

His work for New Orleans has been something to emulate. I wish there were thousands more like him.
(They don't even have to be that damned cute.)

1. There is an apparent drive to make him run for Mayor and he said if he runs it would be on pro-gay
marriage, no religion, pro-marijuana platform!

I loved it!

16. I dream of a day where we have a choice of several pro-gay marriage, no religion,
pro-marijuana candidates to vote for.

Although I'd probably settle for aetheist/agnostic instead of "no religion".

3. He does seem to be every bit as good as he looks!
For me, that's a sign to proceed with caution, not only for my own sense of hope, but also for the other person to be allowed to be who they are, not a plaster "saint" on a pedestal.

6. He doesn't need to be mayor
As a New Orleanian, I wouldn't wish it on him. I'd rather see him free to keep doing what he's doing now.

7. I think both of them
are doing extraordinary work, making their celebrity and $$ MEAN something significant. Anyone with celebrity and/or money needs to take a lesson.

Bono... There are lots and lots of them. Barbara Streisand, Ophrah, Jane Fonda, Sandra Bullock. We have reason to be proud of them. There's a bunch on the other side too, but I won't list them

11. BTW, is Clooney Gay? I was browsing, but the sound bite I heard last-night alluded to that.
I don't follow celebrities at all, so perhaps this is old news to everyone else.

12. No he's not
As a matter of fact he's famous for being quite the womanizer. Something along the lines of Warren Beatty.

14. I am proud of my Gay brothers and sisters, but I have to say, I would have regarded that one as
regrettable.

Now, don't kick my ass everyone! Seems like there's an awful lot of really really beautiful Gay folk, anyway.

GC is just so absolutely handsome, it would be just another little disappointment to this old hetero if he didn't like women.

15. Nothing to kick your ass about! I'm sure some gays wish he weren't straight!

I agree with you. He's sexy because he makes and acts in all kinds of films, especially doing fringe characters like "Brother Where Art Thou", which is a classic.

17. Yes indeed, sexy is much more than looks it is also who a person IS and you can see that in how they
spend their time here with the rest of us.

9. It seems as if one of the very best uses of celebrity is to convert it into
assistance for others who need help.

Good for yet another actor who sees the big picture.

Parade Magazine had an article on him last Sunday. He's a do-gooder in the best sense of the word.
