Give me some one liners, please.
I'm going to hit 3 townhalls in the next 2 weeks. We were asked to be polite, so I won't be yelling.

They have their talking points so every question will be the same so I thought I'd just make signs.

When they yell. Tort reform, I'll hold up a sign that says "Translation. Don't hold anyone accountable.

Scared? Of course you are. Look who ran the country for 8 years.

Can't afford insurance. Too bad the CEO needs that $5000 an hour salary.

Freedom! To declare bankruptcy, lose your home and hold bake sales to pay for your healthcare.

Death panels? I'd rather have for profit insurance deciding whether I live or die.

Read the bill? Which bill?

Best healthcare money can buy, no money? Then just die.

Thanks to a DU'er in another post. Only in America, can a company make a huge profit by not giving you a service that you paid for.

Any others? This could be fun.

17. I'd carry a BIG sign and a petition.
I'd be an activist. My sign would say say "NO GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS. NO SOCIAL SECURITY. NO MEDICARE." I'd work the crowd with a petition to abolish social security and medicare. When most each and every person freaks out and refuses to sign (and, you know, freaks out), you calmly say that Social Security and Medicare are socialists government run programs and need to be abolished. The key here is that you really have to look like you are serious and you can't tip your hand.

18. If you think this health care system works for you,
Ask a hemophiliac. Big pharma killed a generation of young men when they determined that settling with AIDS victims was more cost effective than recalling their tainted product. Google the 'Committee of Ten Thousand' if you dont believe me. For the rest of my life, I'll never forget helping my friend stitch her son's panel for the AIDS quilt. And I'll never trust that the pharmecutical companies, the insurance companies or the FDA are working toward the public health.
