Last night a caller to Curtis Sliwa on his syndicated show reported about an ORDERLY and POLITE town hall meeting that was hosted by Rep. Anthony Wiener (D-NY). And the caller attributed the civility to the fact that there were "union thugs" attending to make sure the audience didn't get to "exercise their free speech rights".

He really said this with a hearty "amen" from Curtis Sliwa, the host.

It's "free speech" if there is uncontrolled shouting and screaming. But if the issues are allowed to be examined and discussed, union thugs controlled by the democrats control the message.

I thought they were killed off since 1980.

If a union can still field groups of "thugs", I have some "target rich environments" for them.

Where oh where were those thugs during the 2000 Stop the Count riots in Fla. My soul longed for some guys with bent-over noses to kick some serious pencil-neck ass!

Have you seen the age of most of the "protesters"? Nobody working...all retired... and on MEDICARE!!

My father was a lifelong union member, and he raised me with the idea that working people sometimes needed to strike, or take some time off to straighten out people who would take worker's jobs away.

Kicking pencil-neck ass in Fla. would have saved thousands of jobs. Who better to kick that ass than the people who would be most screwed by the Bush usurpation?
