(All but Ben Nelson, I guess. Even Lieberman). This is why it was defeated and then modified in 2006.

It's times like these that one is tempted to delete their own erroneous post. I usually leave them in to remind myself to always verify.

But I still think Sen Kennedy was a courageous and wonderful Senator.

9. My first hope is for opening up Medicare to All and calling it Teddy Care

although there is faint hope of that happening at this point unless they are forced to scrap eveything and start over. I personally think what they are coming up with right now is so half-assed, that they might actually be forced to do that.

If they come up with a public option WORTHY ENOUGH to have his name on it, I think it would be a great memorial. For the record, I don't think Schumer's "level playing field" option comes even close.
