I will support Hillary Clinton for President.

ONLY IF

she will introduce a bill in the Senate this year

1 to repeal Medicare Part D

2 repeal the means test for Medicare Part B

3 to enact a prescription drug benefit in Medicare Part B covering 80 percent of all medications
with no extra monthly premium, no extra annual deductible, no means test, no coverage gap,
and no late sign up penalties.

and that this bill passes the Senate and House and gets signed by the President.

and another bill in the senate this year to increase the minimum wage to $10 an hour
and get it passed by the senate and the house and signed by the President.

If she acts like a liberal then I will support her.

Otherwise I will not support her.

I sent the above message to her senate office and campaign office and told the persons at the offices that I talk to thousands of people on the internet each day.

Sure I believe in boycotts but I also believe at certain times to make demands of presidential candidates too.

1. Somehow I don't think HRC will get our votes.

For me, it's more about coming clean on her Iraq votes.

How hard is it to admit to a mistake?

2. So if Bush vetoes, it's her fault?
Sheesh. She's not my first choice and I although I'd hope all DU'ers would vote the Democratic nominee, I can understand some justifications for not voting for her.

But asking her to move mountains and force Bush into signing something he isn't going to sign? Especially on an issue in which she has voted the right way? Talk about driving a hard bargain.

5. So, in not supporting a war monger, you'd help elect an even bigger war monger? n/t

8. Which Of The Remaining Democratic Candidates Is A Bigger War Monger
Than Hillary.

As usual a red herring argument.

6. I will support her regardless, if she's the nominee, even though she'd be my last choice
There's no way I would vote for another party, since a vote for another party is now a vote for the GOP. Idealism be-damned -- that's what got us 8 years of Captain Howdy.

if it were running against a Republican in any race.

7. That's a pretty politically savvy ultimatum there. I think she's cornered now.
I feel confident that Hillary will easily get Bush to sign any 'ol bill she writes now that she knows your vote is at stake over it.

In fact, we ought to make this the plan for every Democrat. ONLY vote for the Democratic candidate if they meet our demand to write the bill you outlined and get Bush to sign it before the election. Brilliant.

17. I'm leaning the same way
No place to keep a pony, though. So that works in her favor. Just barely.
