Does Cheney have a talking points chip inserted in his head?

I swear, every time Cheney answers a question, I know pretty much exactly what he's going to say because I've heard it so many times before.

Example: Schieffer asked him about his "Last Throes" statement.

Cheney goes into a litany about how this was right after the election, cue the tape, praise of brave Iraqis daring to vote, wonders of Democracy etc,

Bob Shieffer is being a total wuss--no surprise there.

5. You're right about Cheney, but I disagree with you about Schiefer.

I thought he did a great job with his questions. He was prefessional, as he always is, and he didn't shy away from asking good questions. The fact that Unka Dick was being his normal Dick self can't be blamed on Bob.

How DOES he pull that one off. Always so "low key" and "intimate" in his discussions. Always so "kindly."

Hubby says to me he's like Nazi Hermann Goering who was charming to all and few could believe he was killing Jews and others he "didn't approve of."

Cheney has that "thing" that allows him to "seem" the kindly uncle who remembers Birtdays and hands out candy whenever you see him. But, underneath he's a Pervert. Yet...he just doesn't seem to be one...WHO WOULDA THUNK? Even the people who server with him DON'T GET IT! :shrug:
