Has Imus gotten any death threats?

I was just thinking about how part of the violation of free speech meme is "What about the Dixie Chicks then?" and I started comparing the actions of the group who spoke out against Imus and boycotted his advertisers and those who spoke out against the Dixie Chicks and boycotted them.

Personally, I think it's rather obvious that people had a right to not buy CDs or go to concerts if they disagreed with the Dixie Chicks. I'd go so far as to even say that destroying the CDs was okay as long as it was just their own copies.

But the death threats and threats of general violence were in another category. Has Imus received similar threats in similar amounts? I haven't heard anything about it, but if anyone's got any evidence of threats I'm open to it.

If you really want to know who's a fascist and who wants to silence the voices of their opponents and who is a threat to free speech, maybe you should be looking at people who threaten others with death, not people who boycott advertisers.

He makes a living off of insulting people. I'm sure his "death threats" mail pile is fifty times bigger than his fan mail pile.
